Testimonials

3. "Tess was able to understand our business model, and immediately recognize the feasibility of our concept. By starting with a small equipment

Lease of $20k in 1996, her firm helped us establish a solid foothold in a new industry which conventional bankers were reluctant to lend to.

Over the course of the next few years, Tess continued to provide equipment leasing in excess of 2million USD  to assist in our company's Expansion and dominance of the industry (internet services sector.) She is the consummate workaholic, and able to deliver every time. I recommend her Services to anyone seeking additional capital for expansion."

Paul Lum ,
Formerly CEO of Internet Gateway/Internet Domain Registrars

  • Marketing &Sales

Marketing and Sales was not even mentioned in the polling feedback; most people take it for granted that they can talk their way into (what about ‘out of'?) selling their clients.

I recently read the book ‘Awaken the Genius' by Patrick K. Porter, Ph.D.  This author makes mention of his father saying to him:

“Everybody wants to talk about the price of education, but who wants to talk about the price of not having one?”

The forever inspiring Harvey Cohen http://www.harveycohen.com/ as well my long time buddy, the multi-talented Pavla Nygaard (nee Polcarova) http://www.cprcoaching.com/ are two examples of terrific sales and motivational speakers that I have seen perform here on the West Coast; I understand they travel all over the continent to do their work. If you require a keynote or sales program speaker, have a chat with either one of these two people. I look forward to reporting any advice tips that they would like to share so as to pepper up future newsletter issues!

In future issues I will be covering all the great aspects to the new Coaching boom that has taken over, so get your executive summaries into me and let us know what makes you amazing in the Coaching industry and why.

TAB Vancouver

"The reason so many small businesses fail is not because the business owner doesn't work hard, it's because they work hard at the wrong type of work. The Alternative Board teaches business owners what the right type of work is, and then puts together a board of advisors to insure that the business owner stays focused and disciplined on the right type of work. It's a lot easier to become a good runner when you run with good runners then it is to run on your own.
